World Exposition EXPO 2000 

EXPO 2000

From June 1st to October 31st, 2000, Hannover (Germany) hosts the World Exposition EXPO 2000. The exposition stands under the theme "Humankind - Nature - Technology: A new world arising".

About 180 countries and organizations participate in this event. More than 50 countries have bulid their own pavilion, the remainder are presenting in exhibition halls. The exposition is accompanied by a cultural and events program. Have a look at for more details about the EXPO 2000.

EXPO 2000 special offer

We are happy to propose a special excursion to the EXPO 2000 in Hannover on Saturday September, 16th. Attendants of the PATMOS 2000 are invited to the EXPO 2000 and a guided tour by the Greater Hannover District Association (

We will meet at 9:30 am at the EXPO station. The program will last about 4 hours and include a guided tour in English, a visit to the VIP lounge of the Greater Hannover District Association with a snack and an optional Easy Access to one pavilion (e.g. German pavillon or Planet M). After this program you will have enough time to enjoy the EXPO on your own. The offer includes free entry to the EXPO, to the guided tour and the VIP Lounge, but does not include the transfer from Goettingen and/or Hannover.

Train or travel arrangements must be organized by yourself. However, if you have questions or difficulties, we will assist you. The EXPO 2000 station is right in the middle between Goettingen central station and Hannover Airport or Hannover central station.
