2.3 " MOMO: Scheduling Method for Large Data Flow Graph ", J. Noel, Ch. Trullemans, UCL/DICE, Belgium.
This paper proposes a new model of macro-operation to reduce the size of the Data Flow Graph. A macro-operation is a fixed sequence of primitive operations with data inputs and outputs at different time steps. The occupation grid is a companion concept which allows to design optimal macro-ressources and simultaneous handling of global resources, like functional units, buses and memories, during sheduling. To demonstrate the performance of the method, algorithms for robot control have been chosen as a case study.
