ELIGIBILITY

Undergraduate students

International undergraduate applicants are required to have completed their secondary education and possess university eligibility in their own country. Students who plan to complete their entire undergraduate education and receive a Bachelor's degree at TTU must pass the entrance examinations given by the University. Admission will be based on the general requirements for all students. Principle language of instruction is Estonian. Some courses are available in Russian.

Graduate students

International graduate applicants are required to have completed a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Students who plan to obtain their graduate degree from TTU should contact the professor whom they would like to supervise in their studies.

Each student is required to send in the following documents:

Exchange students will present documents according to the agreement between the universities.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Degree programs:

Students who plan to take a full program and obtain their Bachelor's degree at TTU must pass the Estonian language test given by the University and their admission will be based on the results of the test.

Students who plan to obtain their master's or doctor's degree from TTU should contact the professor(s) they would like to be their advisor during their studies.

International students who plan to study at TTU for up to one year are not required to take the entrance exams.

ACCOMMODATION

Exchange students are guaranteed places in a hostel on the campus.

All other international students should notify the Student Union of their intent to live in the hostel by 1st of July.

Private rooms or flats can be found through newspaper advertisements or rental agencies operating in town.
