Manual - Errors


After the input of one to 16 Video Scans they have to be checked. If they are containing errors the Video Scan Check Protocol shown in the browser-window presents errornumbers and a short description.

Ten different errors are possible. The list below shows all errors by their number.

The coordinates are not correctly entered. The four edges of a Video Scan have to have certain positions. Point 1 is always upper left, point 2 upper right, point three lower left and point 4 lower rigtht. To calculate other parameters this has to be kept.

The parameter delta A isn´t defined but is needed. Enter a value greater zero.

The parameter delta D int´t defined but is needed. Enter a value greater zero.

The parameter delta A is defined but has to be zero. This is only necessary at single point Video Scans. All the other types need values different from zero for delta A.

The parameter delta D is defined but has to be zero. This is only necessary at single point or straight line Video Scans. All the other types need values different from zero for delta A.

The parameter delta A has wrong values. With the entered values the stapper delta A runs out of the Video Scan area and doesn´t reach the startvalue of parameter delta L (see picture 1).

The calculated value of B.x and B.y is zero but has to be different. One of these two parameters gets his value from delta D. The other ist calculated. Delta D seems to be wrong.

At least two of the four lines which limit the Video Scan have to be parallel. (A special case is a triangle Video Scan. Here we have one point that is always parallel to to a line.) Baseline is always the line between B0 and L0. Another line has to be parallel to this line. Otherwise the Video Scan is faulty (see picture 2).

The values of the basestepper don´t fit to the borders of the Video Scan. Therefore the basestepper runs in or out of the Video Scan area (see picture 3).

The values of the limitstepper don´t fit to the borders of the Video Scan. Therefore the limitstepper runs in or out of the Video Scan area (see picture 4).
