Manual - Part 3

Definition of the Video-Scan-Parameters

A complete Video-Scan consist of a set of 27 parameters. 18 of these parameters are defined at this part of the Task-Designer. It is only the entry of ten parameters necessary where eight of them aren´t real Video-Scan-Parameters. These parameters can be entered at the right side of the window. The first eight parameters mark where to place the Video-Scan on the memory. The next is the stepwidth (delta A). The last one (delta D) is the distance between two scanlines. Is the stepdirection horizontal then delta D equals delta B.y, is it vertical then it equals delta B.x.

To enter a value move the mouse over the picture in the big window over an edge or another valuesign and click on it or click inside of a textfield. To increase or decrease values you can use the arrows left and right of the textfields. To change to another textfield mark it with your mouse or use TAB or SHIFT-TAB to go foreward and backword or press easily ENTER.

The three windows on the left side show you the Video-Scan-Menu, the Video-Scan-List and a little graphic of the actual Video-Scan (see pictures below).

This may help you entering a Video-Scan that looks like a triangle, a straight line or a single point. It is not possible to enter values for disabled points. Use it to transform the points with the entered matrix. To bring back the graphical window click again on this menupoint.

After you have entered all values you have to check them. A checkprotocol is generated and you can see it in the browserwindow. The protocol shows you possible warnings and/or errors. Warnings can be ignored but errors have to be removed. You can´t save the Video-Scans to disk till you have removed all errors. If checking the Video-Scans succeeded the protocol shows you the calculated taskparameters. These parameters can be saved to disk.
